Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon

Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon is a video game released for the Sega CD platform, adapting the popular anime and manga series.

The game primarily follows a narrative structure akin to a visual novel. You take on the role of Usagi Tsukino, a seemingly ordinary schoolgirl who discovers she is Sailor Moon, the Moon Princess, destined to protect Earth. Much of your time is spent interacting with characters, progressing the story through dialogue, and making choices that can influence events.

When threats arise, Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon transitions into side-scrolling action sequences. Here, you directly control Sailor Moon or one of her fellow Sailor Guardians, using their signature attacks and special abilities to overcome enemies and bosses. These segments break up the narrative, offering a chance to put the heroes' powers into direct action against villains like those from the Dark Kingdom.

The adventure in Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon sees you working alongside Ami (Sailor Mercury), Rei (Sailor Mars), Makoto (Sailor Jupiter), and Minako (Sailor Venus) to thwart the schemes of Queen Beryl and her subordinates. The game captures the essence of the series, blending its themes of friendship, love, and justice with interactive gameplay.
