Pokemon Crippling Medical Debt Edition

Pokemon Crippling Medical Debt Edition is a Game Boy Advance ROM hack created by GMars based on Pokémon Emerald. Players control an uninsured protagonist who survives being struck by a truck, only to face overwhelming hospital debts that force an immediate quest to claim the financial rewards of the Pokémon League.

Introduces a massive roster of over 1,000 Pokémon spanning up to Generation 9, alongside a fully integrated Mega Evolution system. Battles utilize modern Generation 9 mechanics, featuring soft level caps and an active Set battle style by default to establish strategic depth.

Features a completely redesigned map filled with satirical narrative elements alongside extensive quality-of-life systems. Exploration relies on unlimited-use TMs, itemless overworld HM functionality, a portable healing tool, and immediate menu access to individual Pokémon IV and EV statistics.

Beloved for its sharp social commentary and streamlined progression systems that eliminate traditional grinding via rebalanced experience caps. Dedicated Nuzlocke convenience menus cater specifically to challenge runners, though some encounters demand highly meticulous team preparation.
