About The Sims 2

The Sims 2 is a life simulation game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. Released in the mid-2000s, this version brings the popular life simulation experience to the Nintendo DS, allowing players to create and control virtual people on the go.

In The Sims 2 for NDS, you take on the role of a Sim's life director. Your primary task is to ensure your Sim's well-being by managing their basic needs like hunger, hygiene, and energy. You'll direct them to eat meals, use the toilet, and sleep. Beyond survival, you'll help them build relationships by interacting with other Sims, choosing dialogue options to make friends or pursue romance.

To progress, Sims need careers. You'll guide your Sim to work, helping them develop skills like cooking, mechanical, or logic by reading books or practicing specific actions. Improving these skills often leads to promotions, unlocking new opportunities and better pay. You can also customize their living space by purchasing furniture and decorating their home. The NDS version uses the stylus for many interactions, making it easy to point and direct your Sim's activities, and often includes specific story goals or challenges to complete.
