Mega Drive

The Sega Mega Drive — sold as the Genesis in North America — is Sega’s 16-bit home console from 1988. A faster processor and a harder-edged line-up let it trade blows with the Super Nintendo: Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage and Phantasy Star all came from this machine.
